About the Poem
“United in Response” is a poetic tribute to global efforts addressing HIV/AIDS. It calls for compassion, unity, and collective responsibility to end the epidemic, guided by empathy and sustained hope.
United in Response
Against the tide of HIV, we stand as one,
United in response, until the fight is won,
Education, compassion, our strongest defense,
Together, we build a world of hope immense.
From prevention to treatment, and care beyond,
Our solidarity shines, a beacon so fond,
For in each action, each step we take,
Hope blooms eternal, for humanity's sake.
In the face of stigma, let compassion lead,
For in empathy and support, lives we feed,
Together, hand in hand, side by side,
We journey forward, with love as our guide.
So let us join our voices, in unity's call,
For an end to HIV, once and for all,
In strength in numbers, in community's might,
We pave the way, for a future bright.
